On Wednesday 12 October, the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Alumni Team welcomed Commonwealth Alumnus Dr Omojeme Adomi to speak about her work on eye health for the Development in Action webinar series. Dr Adomi’s presentation on ‘Private eye health care in Nigeria: a key to SDG3?’ addressed the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ development theme of Strengthening health systems and capacity.
On Thursday 8 September, the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Alumni Team hosted the latest Development in Action webinar on ‘Girls in STEM: case study of a secondary school in Nairobi’ delivered by Commonwealth Alumnus Margaret Kamau. This webinar addressed the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ development theme of Access, inclusion and opportunity.

On Wednesday 27 April, the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Alumni Team unveiled the refreshed Development in Action webinar series, which will replace the Knowledge Hub webinar series going forward. The first webinar of the new series was ‘From Chennai to Coventry: A peace educator’s journey into policy’ delivered by Commonwealth Alumnus Kirthi Jayakumar. The webinar addressed the the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ development theme, Strengthening global peace, security and governance.
